 PYAA Fall Lacrosse Clinics
PYAA Lacrosse will begin their Fall Clinics on Sunday, September 7th, at the PYAA Sports Complex. The clinics will run Sunday afternoons through October 26th (8 weeks). Online registration is the preferred method for you to register for the clinic. For more information visit the PYAA website here.

Bicycle & Wagon Decorating contest for Labor Day Parade! Violet Township Bicentennial
Decorate your "ride" or "pull" - don''''t forget your helmet! Free event fun for kids, moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, EVERYONE! Meet at Pickerington Senior Center, 150 Hereford Drive.

Decorate your “vehicle” in an era from the past 200 years and dress up to match. (Like Pioneers, Wild West, Civil War, 1960’s, etc.) Don’t forget to decorate your helmet.

Young children may be pulled in a decorated wagon, but moms and dads should dress up too!

  • Participation Ribbons for Everyone
  • Top Three Individual Winners receive a rosette ribbon too!
  • Decorate as a group and ride in the parade with your friends.

No Entry Fee. All Ages Welcome. Entrants are welcome to ride together as a group in the Lions Club Labor Day Parade at 10:00am. Children under age 9 who wish to ride in the parade MUST have an adult to walk with them. Parade moves at a quick walking pace.

The OPVBA will be having their annual Petfest Friday, September 5, 2008, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event will take place along West Columbus Street in the Olde Pickerington Village. There will be a Pet Parade through the area at 7:30 PM. This event will have Animal Rescue Groups, Pet Vendors, Special Pet Services, Activities for the Children and much more!! Fun Run will follow the 5k and 5k run/walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
All proceeds from the race will be donated to creating safe pathways for kids. The money raised will be used to install sidewalks that lead to our Pickerington schools. We have teamed with the City of Pickerington who has offered to match what we raise--up to $5,000 for this worthy cause.
